About Us

Luke Theriault graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy with an engineering degree and a commission as an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Originally from Connecticut, he moved to Charleston after college—much like many others who fell in love with the Lowcountry’s charm and lifestyle.

After working as an engineer aboard ships, Luke began investing in real estate during his time on land, using his technical background to renovate homes and build a portfolio of long-term rentals. Over time, he recognized a gap in the property management industry: a lack of personal attention and reliability when it came to managing both valuable assets and the homes people live in. That led him to start Portside Property Management, a company rooted in responsiveness, transparency, and hands-on service.

Luke now lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife Emily and their English Springer Spaniel. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, water skiing, and exploring new restaurants around the Lowcountry.

Patrick Dunne started working for Portside Property Management shortly after moving down to Charleston, SC. He’s quickly fallen in love with the area. Patrick was drawn to the company’s strong family feel and the opportunity to be part of a team that truly cares about its tenants. He is proud of the work we do every day to support our residents and create a welcoming community. The company's goal is to continue growing while building meaningful relationships with both property owners and tenants throughout the process.

Patrick grew up in Nazareth, Pennsylvania his whole life and moved to Charleston last October. He now lives Downtown with his friends. In his free time, Patrick enjoys watching sports, playing pickleball, and fishing.

Ben Theriault graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in engineering. Originally from Connecticut, he built his career working in manufacturing environments, where he developed a strong foundation in systems, efficiency, and hands-on problem solving.

Before entering the professional world, Ben grew up working on home renovation projects and tackling repairs alongside family, gaining practical experience that continues to serve him today. His background blends technical engineering knowledge with real-world skills, allowing him to approach property maintenance and improvements with both precision and practicality. At Portside Property Management, Ben supports operations, maintenance coordination, property oversight, and leads client acquisition efforts, helping grow the company through direct outreach and relationship building.

In his free time, he enjoys golfing, swimming, staying active outdoors, and keeping up with friends and family.

Susana has a background in industrial engineering, with experience working for international companies. She currently serves as the Office Administrator at Portside Property Management, where she enjoys keeping things organized and running smoothly for the team. Outside of the office, Susana loves spending time in nature and cherishing moments with her family and friends.
